Both the Graduate Certificate and the Master's Program is a mix of Summer Schools and Distance Courses. The Summer Schools will be conducted at the SUNY Buffalo State College in Buffalo, New York.
The Distance Courses are a blend of assignments, working online in subgroups and online group discussions. All the assignments and group discussions will be facilitated by the use of Blackboard Learn™, an online learning environment.
The program consists of a Graduate Certificate and a Master Program, divided into six blocks and three elective courses.
All distance students must begin with the Graduate Certificate and may apply to continue on for the Master's degree.

Understanding Yourself and Becoming an Informed Consumer of Creativity Resources

Deepen and Broaden Theoretical Foundations- Becoming a Reflective Practitioner
Distance Course Block Five:
Exploring and Understanding Current Issues

You must complete a total of 3 electives by the end of Block Six.

Out-of-state students enrolled in Buffalo State's online courses are eligible for special tuition rates if they meet the following criteria:
1. Must be enrolled exclusively in online courses
2. Must not have had an address in New York State within the last fiscal year (July 1 - June 30)**
** Current students' residency status at time of their enrollment at Buffalo State will be used to determine the residency requirement of online tuition rates.
