Buffalo State Creativity Expert Featured on Academic Minute

Posted: January 12, 2012

Gerard Puccio, professor and chair of the Center for Studies in Creativity, is featured on the Academic Minute for January 11. He discussed the important role creativity plays in innovation—a key attribute of businesses that can not only survive but grow and prosper.

“For decades,” Puccio told the radio and online audience, “research has shown that you can develop your innate creativity.”

The Academic Minute was created by WAMC Northeast Public Radio. It is now carried by 60 radio stations—“and counting!” according to Katie Britton, one of the program’s producers. It also appears in Inside Higher Ed and is heard on Science 360 Radio.

Faculty members whose research has uncovered a surprising and interesting fact about the world, the universe, or any inhabitants thereof—and who are interested in sharing that fact with the world in a one-and-a-half minute segment—are invited to contact Mary Durlak in College Relations.
