Miriam Kelley is a creative problem-solver, mentor, and coach, as well as a hands-on facilitator of Inventive Thinking. She is a Lecturer at Buffalo State College, where she received her Masters Degree in Creative Studies in 2014. She has spent most of her professional life as an Industrial Designer on the outside and an Engineer on the inside with a focus on creating engaging products for children. 

She is currently on the Board of Western New York Invention Convention (wnykidsinvent.org) where her role is Education and Outreach. She is fulfilling this mission by conducting Creativity and Inventive Thinking Workshops with audiences consisting of educators as well students. She also runs Tinkercraft workshops with Tinkering School Buffalo and The Foundry. Miriam is also an Imagination Chapter Leader with the Imagination Foundation (imagination.is) and STEAM Program Leader with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Buffalo, where she leads programs such as Inventive Thinking, Cardboard Challenge, and Coding.
